Post 4) General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal

Post 5) Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation : 53 Posts

Post 6) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Corporation : 22 Posts

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2014) :

  • Maximum 32 Years. A relaxation in the upper age limit is available as per government norms.


Educational Qualification :

  • Applicant must have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S Examination.


Application Fee :

  • General Category Candidates have to Pay application fee of Rs. 200/- . Candidates belonging from SC/ ST/ PH/ Female Category  are exempted from application fee payment.

UPSC CMS 2014 Exam Pattern:

The examination will be held in two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Each paper will carry 250 marks creating the total to 500 marks. Each paper will be given a time duration of two hours to be completed.

Paper I : 250 marks- 120 questions


  • General ability: 30 questions
  • General Medicine: 70 questions
  • Paediatrics: 20 questions.

Paper II : 250 marks- 120 questions


  • Surgery : 40 questions
  • Gynaecology and Obstetrics : 40 questions
  • Preventive and Social Medicine : 40 questions
