How to Create Adsense Ad Units Best Ad Units For Adsense

Adsense an exquisite advertising platform for earning money through your articulate online content.In our last post under the blogging section we have posted an article about " What to follow to get adsense approval in first try ".You can read it if you are new to adsense. Now here in this post we will explain about  " How to use adsense ad units , how to apply them in website and blog ".

Step 1 : Visit https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=adsense.

Type your email id and password that you have registered with google adsense.

Adsense home page will open , look for my adds  and open it.


Step 2 : You will see below picture , click on new ad unit.

A new page will open which looks like the below picture.Now what you have to do ?

Step 3 : Write name of the link unit . You can type any name .eg : Ad unit new , ad unit google.

Then choose the ad size. Ad unites are available in different sizes. See the below example of text&image adds.

Horizontal :

Large leaderboard (970 x 90)

Banner (468 x 60)

Half banner (234x60)

Vertical :

Skyscraper (120x600)

Vertical banner (120 x 240)

Large skyscraper (300 x 600)

Square :

Square (250 x 250)

Small square (200 x 200)

Button (125x125)

How to work with ad size and ad type in google adsense :

1] Ad Size :  Under the ad size section Select any one of the above mentioned ad units we  recommend Medium rectangle (300 x 250) , Leaderboard (728 x 90) ( a/c to blogger reviews medium rectangle , leather board get most clicks which is best for earning good income through adsense .)

2] Ad Type : Under the ad type section you can select the ad type you want to display on your website. It may be text add , text and picture add , or flash add.You can see below ad types:

Text

Image

Rich media

Flash

Video

Animated image

Audio

Link units

Then click On save and get code. A code will be generate on your computer  screen . Copy that code and paste it on your website.

Where to paste adsense code on website ?

We can't give you exact instructions for pasting adsense ad code on  website specific page, since every editor and every site is different. But we have provided some examples that will help guide your implementation.

According to Google policies, you can place up to three content units, up to three link units and two search boxes on each web page.
